I heard it through the Grapevine that they want me to make my famous cinnamon rolls and enter them into the fair. You know what else I heard? They also would like for me to enter that scarf, hat and gloves I knitted for Bobby for his last birthday. Everyone said I did a really good job on those and they think I should show case them at the 80th Grape and Fall festival this year September 3rd thru 6th 2014. I heard you can take exhibits to the Rec Center at the Nelson Hart Park from 3pm to 7pm on September 3rd to enter them at the fair.

I heard exhibits are needed from the community. There are classes in farm products, baked goods, canned goods, quilts, clothing, crafts and hobbies, woodworking, knitting, artwork, crochet, rugs, flowers and photography for all ages. I heard that BEST OF SHOW in each category will be returning. I also heard you can donate your baked items (after they are judged, of course) to the Golden Age Center for their bake sale during the fair.

Something else I heard through the Grapevine is that the fair books are available after August 13th, 2014 and you can pick up a fair book and an entry form at the James Memorial Public Library, Tourist Information Center and Country Feeds.

I hope you heard this through the Grapevine, too, because the Lucy Wortham James exhibit committee would really like to see your exhibits at the fair!
