This year the festival will be held on Saturday, JUNE 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the International Scott Joplin Ragtime Music Festival. Since its creation, Queen of the Prairies Festival of the Arts has grown steadily in artists and visitors.
Sedalia known as the Queen City of the Prairie, has everything for a wonderful day of family fun. Opening at 10 a.m. The Queen of the Prairies Festival of the Arts transforms historic downtown Sedalia into a venue for award-winning artists, fine art crafters that draws art lovers and fun seekers from all over the state to this one-day free event. Presented by the Sedalia Visual Art Association and Sedalia Downtown Development, inc, the festival celebrates its 7th year in 2017.
