Entertainment | A guild program is being created for your entertainment pleasure and held on Friday along with a delicious meal and several door prize drawings, too. An event ticket is $10.50 with the meal, $3 without a meal. Fleece Show Bring your wellskirted fleece in a bag for the show this year. Show will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. and will be judged by Ken Gossard, a native Missourian with a long history of judging sheep and wool. All breeds of sheep are acceptable, as well as alpaca, mohair and llama. Fleeces will be judged from a handspinning perspective. The registration form on the website should be filled out and brought with the fleece to registration. | ||
Activities | Fiber Daze has lots of new classes in Spinning, Dyeing, Weaving, Knitting, Felting, Crochet and several other areas of interest. There's sure to be something for everyone! We will have vendors galore to satisfy all your fiber shopping needs. A Friday evening program, meal, door prizes, and plenty of surprises are in store. Vernon Blvd. Go 1.2 mi to 822 W. Mt Vernon Blvd. The MARC is on the right. The MARC is a brick building set back off the street, with a large parking area. It was once a church. It is next to (south of) Mt. Vernon Family Restaurant and Hope Center Thrift Store. |
